Working:
The system comprises water column mounted with no. of conductivity probes with an electronic unit and an optional remote display unit. The conductivity probes with a water column shape a resistivity cell, which along with a reference resistor makes a divider network. When a DC square wave passes through it, the electronics unit detects between steam and water.
